If the original link is dead or redirects, preserve the lesson—such as a narrow toe box or weak zipper—without assuming it describes a new listing.

Triangulate before changing your shortlist

Look for the same specific issue in several independent posts, QC sets, or measurement reports. Separate repeatable facts from taste: “the insole measured 27 cm” can be checked, while “fits perfectly” depends on the wearer. Add verified concerns to your checklist, mark unresolved claims as questions, and remove an item only when the available evidence changes the decision.
