QC photo checks for streetwear and sneakers
QC photos are not only for finding obvious flaws. They help you confirm that the item matches your expectations before you spend money on international shipping.
1. Shape and proportions
For sneakers, compare the toe shape, side profile, heel height, and sole curve. For clothing, check the cut: cropped, oversized, boxy, straight, wide-leg, or tapered. The overall shape matters more than tiny details if you plan to wear the item often.
2. Stitching and construction
Look for uneven seams, loose threads, warped panels, and obvious alignment issues. On bags and jackets, check handles, zippers, pockets, and hardware placement.
3. Fabric and texture
Photos can reveal whether a hoodie looks structured or flimsy, whether denim has the wash you expected, and whether leather-like materials look too glossy. If the texture looks wrong in warehouse lighting, it may not improve in person.
4. Color and lighting
Warehouse lighting can shift colors, so avoid overreacting to minor tone differences. Focus on large mismatches: black that reads gray, cream that reads yellow, or prints that look faded.
5. Sizing notes
If measurements are available, compare them against something you already own. For streetwear, shoulder width, length, inseam, waist, and chest measurements are more useful than generic size labels.
